David Granick, who died in 1980, donated his collection of Kodachrome slides of East London to Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives. They've now been unearthed and digitised by Chris Dorley-Brown, with a book, The East End in Colour, 1960-1980, and an exhibition to mark the occasion.

In late 60’s I did a summer job in a food distribution warehouse just near Tredegar Sq. They had stacks of Percy Daltons peanuts, delicious!
