It’s Putin’s favourite philosopher again, the barking-mad Alexander Dugin:
Speaking ahead of President Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Dugin criticized Trump for trying to “drive a wedge” between Moscow and Beijing. He said that if the West seeks to impose a unipolar world and its hegemony by any means, Russia will resort to the use of strategic nuclear weapons – “even if that places humanity on the brink of destruction.” He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has made it clear that “either there will be a multipolar world in which Russia is sovereign, or there will be no world at all.”
