Thanks for this version. i first heard the song on Charlie Gillett’s Saturday morning show, looking out the window onto Mountview Road, holding my one week old daughter. i could hardly believe how good it was. this is too – more considered and persuasive than the ecstatic lament of the record. however i can only remember that, as i gave the album to O’Chi Brown (remember her?) on her fortieth birthday; PWL had not bothered to induct her into such wonders.
