You may have been wondering how that ArtelorMittal Orbit is coming along. You know, the red swirly metal thing in the Olympic Park.
That's how. You can see the observation platform taking shape at the top there – from where, at no doubt considerable expense, you'll soon be able to look down on the new Westfield Shopping Centre - "Gateway to London's Olympic Park". (Remember Balham, Gateway to the South? – "a rose red city half as Golders Green".)
Which opens tomorrow!
The official opening will be hosted by Pixie Geldof and television presenter Nick Grimshaw, and pop star Nicole Scherzinger will perform live.
Kelly Brook will help launch the New Look store and Olympians including synchronised swimmer Jenna Randall and rower Andy Triggs-Hodge will open Next's new store and sign autographs.
All that glamour will be hard to resist.
