So how's the Orbit coming along? The ArcelorMittal Orbit, that is. The tallest sculpture in the UK, which will "distinguish the east London skyline" and "arouse the curiosity and wonder of Londoners and visitors", according to Mayor Boris.
Well, it's growing:
The outside curly bits are beginning to take shape, though there's still a way to go to realise the final vision. Due for completion by December at the latest.
