Everyday conversion practices 2: When a feminine gender non conforming boy is told that he was born in the wrong body and is in fact a girl. Or a girl that likes climbing trees or football is told these interests make her a boy.
Everyday conversion practices 3: Using the term “trans child”. The use of this term presuppoises that such a category of child exists. (The reality is that this term is an adult ideological label that is attached to children. No child is trans, but many have been deliberately confused)
Everyday conversion practices 4: When a school insists that a teacher or fellow pupil is referred to by their neo gender identity pronouns, and uses facilities and partakes in activities that accord with their new pronouns as opposed to their sex.
Everyday conversion practices 5: When the physical, sexual or emotional abuse a child has suffered is handwaved away by a therapist or social worker. In favour of a modish unevidenced theory that their distress is caused by a mismatched gender identity.
Everyday conversion practices 6: When a parent caught up in a social media group, or one determined to show their ideological purity, wilfully misinterprets the experimental play of the 3 yr old son as evidence they are in reality a girl.
