From the Times:

An activist from an establishment family has been identified as a key figure in an anti-Israel campaign targeting a branch of Gail’s bakery in south London.

Marlo Swann McNair Plowden, 28, a graphic designer who grew up in a £1.5m home near Brixton, is behind Strapline, a protest group that put up posters depicting loaves of bread strapped to explosives outside the newly opened shop in the area.

The posters, bearing the slogans “a rising threat” and “avoid Gail’s”, accuse the company of “aggressive corporate expansion” and cite investments in Israeli defence firms by its majority owner, Bain Capital.

Plowden, who grew up less than a mile from the bakery, comes from a family with a history of senior roles in government and public service.

His grandfather, William Julius Lowthian Plowden, was an academic educated at Eton and Cambridge who advised the government in the 1970s and served briefly as an under-secretary in the Department of Industry.

His great-grandfather, Lord Plowden, was a senior civil servant who worked in the Treasury and helped to plan Nato’s defence of western Europe.

And the latest generation is going after the Jews. So it goes.
