David Collier reports on another BBC spin – the story of the shooting and wounding of three young Palestinian men in Vermont. The incident happened in November 2023, but the case only came to trial this month. The killer pleaded insanity, and there was no evidence brought up to suggest that the Palestinian identity of the wounded men was of any relevance.
The BBC report on the case covers the facts, but includes this comment:
The shooting occurred the month after the start of the Israel-Gaza war and amid a rise in Islamophobia and antisemitism in the US.
Follow the link and you’ll find it’s all about a warning from the FBI director of the dangerous “historic” levels of antisemitic violence in the US after 7th October. Not a mention of Islamophobia.
