In which the Mayor of Hackney beclowns herself:

But she spends most of the interview trying not to actually say that. Presumably because she knows the legal and political difficulties with doing so.

Instead, she deflects to domestic violence, claims the Supreme Court ruling doesn’t protect women, and repeats that “trans women are women” and face high levels of sexual violence.

None of which engage with the substance of the question – or the law.
