Another blow to the trans cult, in Brighton. From the Telegraph:

A rogue NHS GP clinic has been forced to stop prescribing transgender treatment to 78 children it “may have harmed”.

Doctors at the WellBN practice in Brighton and Hove involved in treating children with gender issues have been referred to the General Medical Council.

An investigation by NHS Sussex found the medics’ care “fell far short of what could be considered safe or appropriate”.

“None of the clinicians whose care was considered in the investigation were professionally competent to initiate or assume responsibility for prescribing these medications,” the report said….

There were 78 children aged under 18 who were being prescribed medication for gender identity issues by WellBN.

They have until the end of July to decide if they want to be referred to a specialist NHS gender service to continue receiving care.

Dr Charlotte Canniff, from Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board, said most of the 78 patients had since been referred to gender specialist NHS services, adding: “We will work to support all remaining patients to see these specialists quickly and agree their onward care.”

Those aged 16 and 17 will be reassessed by a multi-disciplinary team and may be able to continue receiving cross-sex hormones if doctors deem it appropriate, but all of those aged under 16 will have their access to prescription drugs removed.

Some of the children were under 13.

Christ. Under 13. And will there be prosecutions?

Fiona McAnena, director of campaigns at charity Sex Matters, said it was “good news that WellBN will no longer be able to dole out dangerous medication to minors”.

“Doctors who are hellbent on promoting transgender ideology have done untold harm to vulnerable young people,” she said.

“The NHS is currently reviewing whether it should stop cross-sex hormones for all under-18s. It should be obvious that messing with the healthy endocrine system of immature young people is not healthcare and should be stopped immediately.”
