A Friday sermon delivered at the Masjid Al-Ansar mosque in Queens, NY, by Islamic scholar Waseem Abullah:

"Oh Muslims, the atrocities that have been committed by the Zionist movement – the Sons of Zion… They are the Sons of Zion, and they are not associated in any way with being the People of the Book or Jews, because they came to that land and they are all foreigners, and they came from different parts of the world and they look nothing like the Israelites, the sons of Jacob, who are Middle Eastern people, they look nothing of the such.

"They speak different languages, oh Muslims, but their aim is to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and drive out our Palestinian brothers and sisters from their land.[…]

"We could see the nature of the Sons of Zion and those who support them. Those who supported them in history have been the Crusaders, and the Crusaders came mainly from Europe, and we are seeing the same [today]. […]

"Oh Muslims, among the lessons that we can learn from our brothers and sisters in Gaza, is that they are counted as martyrs, and those who are still there, are in ribat for the sake of Allah. […]

"As long as they live on that land, they are considered to be in a state of ribat – guarding, standing guard against the enemies – the enemies of Islam and the enemies of humanity."

Yes it's all about Islam, and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Plus, of course, over half of Israelis are Mizrahi, descendants of jews who lived in the Middle East and North Africa for generations, thrown out by their Muslim governments after Israel's foundation.

One response to “Zionists “not Jews””

The Mizrahi Jews also lived in misery in the Middle East and North Africa for centuries. Although there were relatively good periods in this history, there were also massacres. For a more sober history of the Jews in these lands, see the book, “In Ishmael’s House,” by Martin Gilbert.
