From the Telegraph:

British Airways has paused plans to stream a Jewish sitcom on its flights owing to alleged concerns it could trigger a backlash in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.

The airline delayed plans to add the comedy series Hapless, which has been shown on Netflix and Amazon Prime, to its in-flight entertainment system to avoid any appearance of taking sides in the ongoing conflict.

The satire follows misadventures of a London-based cynical journalist for a fictional Jewish newspaper and has been called the British version of the US sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm.

How very strange. Perhaps airline companies, since 9/11, have a particular sensitivity about offending their Muslim customers….

So a sitcom about a journalist working for a Jewish newspaper in London should be banned because of … the war between Israel and Hamas? That makes loads of sense.
This has nothing to do with antisemitism, of course. Perish the thought. Pro-Palestinian activists have nothing against Jews per se. They love the Jews, as they’re against all forms of racism. They’re only against Zionists, don’t you know.
I’ve never heard of this comedy, but perhaps it’s about a cynical Zionist journalist working for a London-based Zionist paper. That must be it.
