And what exactly is she implying by saying that black and brown women have always been unjustly held up against the white female norm? Is she suggesting that black people are not sexually dimorphic? That they experience sex differently? What kind of neoracist shit is that? The woman testifying mentioned Serena Williams. Williams herself has said that men’s and women’s tennis are totally different sports, and that elite male athletes would crush her. Do these women not know that? Do they not realize how many transsexual people vehemently disagree with their incoherent position? Transwomen aren’t being excluded from sports! They can play either in a third category or in the male category! AOC suggests that this effort to protect women’s sport is about men trying to dictate what is right for women, when in fact WOMEN are bravely leading this cause. WOMEN. FEMALE ATHLETES. Her comments about how the government will use data to monitor women’s menstrual cycles in order to criminalize abortion is some unhinged, QANON-level shit. AOC, there is a way to handle this issue with compassion while remaining grounded in reality. I understand that a lot of people speaking out about this have politics that you don’t approve of. Please, please, please, try to set that aside. This is about protecting women’s athletics. It’s about protecting women. That’s it.
