    At first, I thought you just misspelled Oswego. But no, I just googled it and it turns out there really is an Owego New York.

    The confusion between Oswego and Owego is discussed in the Shorpy comments.
    They’ve just put up a lovely Oswego photo, which I may post tomorrow…
