Katie Dolatowski is the trans-identified paedophile who made the news recently when it was revealed that, despite a history of sexual offences against young children, he'd been permitted to stay at the Leeds Women’s Aid Refuge, where he shared space reserved for women and children who'd fled male violence. He subsequently assaulted someone in Glasgow, and was sent to a male prison.

And then:

A notorious transgender paedophile battered a fellow prisoner behind bars after being talked about by other cons.

Katie Dolatowski, 22, set upon the inmate at Polmont jail, near Falkirk, over “comments” lags had made about her.

The convicted sex offender was serving a sentence for assault in the male section of the young offenders nick at the time – but a court heard she is now in a women’s jail.

"Katie…made about her…she". He's a man! He battered a male prisoner – he's a big lad, apparently – so now they decide to put him in the women's prison. Of course. Makes perfect sense: a strong aggressive sexual predator sent to a prison full of vulnerable women – what could possibly go wrong?

[Y]esterday, prosecutor Danielle McDonald told Falkirk Sheriff Court today that Dolatowski lashed out while inmates were collecting their lunch in the jail’s association area.

Ms McDonald said victim Peter Patterson, then 20, was at the hotplate getting his meal when he “felt as if he had been shoved” on January 22 last year.

He was then repeatedly punched by towering Dolatowski.

Ms McDonald said witnesses saw the six foot plus paedo “holding Mr Patterson over a table and punching him to the back of his head”.

Warders shouted at Dolatowski to stop and she was escorted back to her cell.

She was placed on report and received punishments, including loss of privileges and earnings.

But luckily his defence counsel was on hand:

Kelly Howe, defending, said Dolatowski had been put in male accommodation in Polmont “notwithstanding” her identifying as a woman and had been “targeted for quite some time”.

Ms Howe added: “On this occasion she decided to try and stand up for herself about something that had been said to her the previous evening.

“She told prison officers at the time that Mr Patterson had been responsible for making comments about her.”

Ms Howe said Dolatowski’s identity “has now been recognised” by the prison service and she is now in Cornton Vale women’s prison, near Stirling.

And they all live happily ever after.
