Serena Dzenis – self-styled "lens-based artist" – takes photographs of architecture in Iceland, where she's based, as though they were structures on an alien world. The images in her project Utopia Broadcasting are given sci-fi style names, and indeed look like they could be covers for sci-fi novels or futuristic album covers.
In her words, the overall aim of the project is to "transport the viewers imagination to another world that exists outside of time – one where the conversation unravels questions about dreams for a better life amidst the darker side of human ideals".
