    Second photo from the top probably should be labeled 125th Street. 25th Street is nowhere near Harlem.

    Oh gawd. I’m afraid that’s not one of my areas of expertise. I’ve looked up gaff rig on Wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaff_rig – but still can’t help you.

    Mick, I saw these sort of boats at the recent tall ships festival on the Thames. Bit suprised that they would still be working ships in post war USA.
    However makes for a great photo.
