On Bethnal Green Road yesterday. The, um, Phantom Limbs:

Playing – appropriately enough – "Walk on the Wild Side". Badly. But full marks for style (well, apart from the kilt).

There was an Oakland band called The Phantom Limbs. They played post-punk/deathrock, with "a very odd singer, Loto 'Hopeless' Ball, whose howled lyrics and unpredictable stage behavior quickly gained them an infamous reputation in the SF Bay Area." I don't think this is them. But who knows….
