After last week's somewhat stilted performance from Robert Parker, we're straight back to The !!!! Show, 1966, from WFAA Dallas, to show that it wasn't all like that. Cleo Randle here really lays it down:
No, I'd not heard of her either. And for a minute at the start there it seemed like the MC hadn't either: the pause is a wee bit too long between "Miss Cleo" and "Randle". Just remembered it in time.
Presumably that Windy City reference means she's from Chicago, but that's about it for the biographical information. She could certainly belt out a song though.
Her Big City Lights seems to be a Northern Soul favourite.
