At Two Temple Place

That, perched above William Waldorf Astor's gothic revival building on Victoria Embankment, is a gilded weather vane in beaten copper representing Columbus's caravel the Santa Maria.

The house is now open, with free entry, and is dedicated to showcasing publicly-owned art from UK regional collections. Currently they're coming up to the last week of a William Morris exhibition. Personally I can't get too excited about William Morris, but the house itself is extraordinary. The Wiki entry has plenty of photos inside and out.
