From the Times (£):

Ever since Underground Railways draughtsman Harry Beck designed his famous diagrammatic London underground map, the iconic design has inspired numerous spoofs and imitations.

From artist Simon Patterson’s 1992 lithograph The Great Bear, which replaced station names with those of notable historical figures, to designer Simon Clarke’s geographically accurate map or one which illustrates the quickest walking routes between stations, the Tube map has proved to be vastly adaptable.

Now an Austrian University lecturer has produced this special German language version, in a move guaranteed to offend civic-minded Cockneys across the capital.
