There are quite a few John Vachon photos at Shorpy. Some of my favourites here, here, here, or here. He was one of the photographers, along with Walker Evans and Dorothea Lange, employed by the Farm Security Administration in the Thirties to publicise the condition of America's rural poor.
[If, on the other hand, you're after a picture of a man smoking a pipe with his hand up a bull's arse, while another man sits on a stool collecting semen, well, Shorpy do that too.]
