At CiF Dan Kennedy, a self-described pro-Israel liberal, writes about Helen Thomas, the octogenarian US journalist who suggested that all Jews should "go home" to Germany and Poland, and has since resigned – Helen Thomas: good riddance to a garden-variety antisemite. 

This is not quite the most popular comment on the article, but at 86 recommendations as I write, it's certainly up there:

Good for Helen Thomas, shame on all those journalists who support Israel's "right" to steal Palestinian land and persecute Palestinians. Dan Kennedy reveals the west's complicity in this epic act of injustice. May brave journalists continue to speak up, despite being thuggishly threatened by this mass persecution of a 90 year old heroine who dared to speak the truth.

A tedious anti-Semitic rant from an old woman is "daring to speak the truth". A journalist who offers some degree of support for the Israeli position (and is, incidentally, properly critical of the Mavi Marmara raid) "has been flushed out as as agent for Israel". Just another day at Comment is Free, the voice of liberal Britain.
