So how are the North Koreans reacting to the increased UN and international pressure after accusations of an unprovoked attack on the Cheonan? Not, it has to be said, very well:

A saying goes a club is fit for a mad dog. The army and people of the DPRK will never pardon the group of traitors getting hell-bent on confrontation and war, dare taking issue with fellow countrymen.

We do not know empty talk.

The reckless racket of the puppet forces will lead to a dirge of the traitorous clique.

It almost achieves a kind of poetry.

Well, OK, no it doesn't.

“…This is an intolerable provocation against the DPRK and an undisguised declaration of a war against it.”
The nuance here has me somewhat confused:
    1) NK launches an unprovoked attack on a SK naval vessel with loss of many (SK)lives.
    2) NK announces that SK has declared war on NK.
Now that NK says that a state of war exists, is SK free to retaliate in any way it sees fit?
I’m speaking of the legal position, not the realpolitik.
    There’s a moral here…

(No, “Does a bear sh*t in the woods?” was not what I had in mind!)
