For there to be a justification for Israel's existence, there first has to exist an existential threat to the Jewish people. Granted, history has handed us that fear of annihilation on a plate, but just because the fear exists, it doesn't necessarily follow that what is feared does too.
Ony an "existential threat" can justify Israel's existence? Doesn't apply to any other country, but then the Jews always were different. And so lucky! – they've had the fear of annihilation handed to them on a plate. Now all they need to do is realise that the rockets from Gaza, the ravings of Ahmedinejad, the incessant demonisation of the Zionist Entity across the Muslim world, are all figments of their imagination.
As for 1948, 1967, 1973….just silly little misunderstandings…
