Philosopher Stephen Law has been debating Ibrahim Lawson, head of an Islamic school, in a series of exchanges on his blog. It started when Stephen expressed his concern after hearing a Radio 4 interview where Lawson confirmed that, at his school, Islam “is a given and is never challenged”. Lawson then responded, and the debate took off.

I give that background just to put into context Stephen’s latest post on “mystical experiences”, which, perhaps, marks the end of an increasingly one-sided debate. Well worth a read.
