As Columbia University prepares to welcome President Ahmadinejad, here’s the kind of stuff they’re showing back home – from an interview with Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali, an Iranian expert on Middle Eastern affairs, aired on the Iranian News Channel (IRINN) in June:

Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali: Dear viewers, Israel was established more than 50 years ago. Ever since, Jewish Zionists intellectuals and politicians have concealed the fact that the Israeli state was established on the basis of several protocols and theories from before the establishment of the Jewish state. […]

Zionism is a school of thought which is primarily economic, and only then political. It is based on racial supremacy and the desire to control all the resources of the world. […]

Interviewer: Where do we see their characteristics?

Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali: They are evident in the declarations of the founders of Zionism and of the Zionist state.

Interviewer: Do you mean the Zionist protocols?

Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali: The Zionist protocols, which are in fact The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, were highly confidential documents, written by the founders of Zionism in order to control the world. […]

Let me point out that at first, a copy was found by some author in Czarist Russia, and he published it. The protocols were so horrifying, filthy, and contrary to human values that even then, thousands of Jews were killed and thrown into the water canals.

Interviewer: Because the truth about them was exposed?

Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali: The truth about them and about their secret goals and covetous desires was exposed. I have brought some excerpts, which I will read when you want me to. They contained ideas unacceptable to any country, government, or regime. After the establishment of the Communist regime, these copies were collected through the efforts of the Jews, and then laws were legislated prohibiting possession of the protocols. In England, one copy was registered in some museum. This exposed the fact that Jewish – or rather, Zionist Jewish – thinking poses a threat to humanity. […]

Their belief that they are superior to others is so strong that anyone who is not a Zionist is not considered to be human.

Interviewer: This is completely racist.

Mohammad Mehdi Amir Kamali: Yes, it is. They believe that the rest of humanity, which is not Jewish, was created in order to serve the Jews. They interpret human rights to refer to Jewish Zionists alone. Whoever is not Zionist is not considered a human being entitled to basic rights.

And here’s Hasan Rahimpur Azghadi, of the Iranian Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution, indulging in a bit of occidentalism:

Hasan Rahimpur Azghadi: [The Westerners] have transgressed all moral boundaries, and that is why their family unit has collapsed. When modesty and chastity are abandoned, soon enough the family falls apart. The husband and wife are no longer satisfied with one another, and they begin having relations with other men and women. After a while, they start thinking that since they have already experienced this, it is time to try homosexuality. Then, they think this is old-fashioned, and they turn to animals. These things happen in the West. After a while, when they get bored with this, they turn to small children. Today, one of the most prosperous and lucrative trades in the world is the trafficking in sex slaves – mostly women and small children. They trade small children like slaves and use them for sex. They are worse than the most monstrous beasts in history. They have even developed theories about this. Throughout history, people did these vile things, but they never discussed it in public. They always did it in secret. These people raise their head up high, and admit that they do these things. They have now begun turning to objects. There are big factories that produce artificial genitals, and they sell them in stores. A sex shop is a store that sells sex toys.

It’s the familiar path of sexual degradation: wife, then homosexuals, animals, small children, and finally, when you’d think there were no more moral boundaries to transgress, no further depths to be plumbed….the trip to Ann Summers.
