The Korean Chilsong Trading Corporation is producing various kinds and forms of cornhusk shoes.
Its cornhusk shoes (for male and female) were highly appreciated by visitors at the 18th China Harbin Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation and the 2nd DPRK Commodity Fair held in Dandong City, Liaoning Province of China.
They are made of cornhusk whose tensile strength is treated with biochemical technology. The shoes are good for health and longevity, which are made in consideration of the importance of foot in the human body and the influence of shoe on it.

The cornhusk is sterilized and the shoe sole is treated with natural medicinal powder to ensure hygienic conditions. The cornhusk shoes are not less than common synthetic leather shoes.
