There's been some concern over Redditch MP Rachel Maclean's "transphobic" comments about the Green Party candidate, Melissa Poulton – shown here in a green dress, which beautifully complements her tumbling dark auburn hair:
As well as sharing the post about Melissa Poulton, she also made comments which have been labelled by some as ‘hateful’ and ‘transphobic’. The original post described Ms Poulton as ‘a man who wears a wig and calls himself a proud lesbian’.
Mrs Maclean, who was made deputy chair of the Conservative Party by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in his recent reshuffle, added, via her post: “While the Greens don’t know what a woman is, my Worcestershire neighbours the people of Bromsgrove certainly do.”
BBC Midlands are on the case:
“Without a shadow of a doubt it is a transphobic comment.”

To be featured in a documentary in twenty years time looking back on the state of us now, with the likely title "The Gender Scam: How the World Went Mad", or "What the fuck was all that about?".
