We don't have the details yet, but it's surely worth noting that when a trans woman commits a serious crime the media reports are scrupulous about using female pronouns. It's usually somehwere near the bottom of the report – or when you see a photo – that you realise they're talking about a man. Yet with this Nashville shooter there's no problem referring to her as a woman thoughout, even though she's trans and uses male pronouns.
Also: testosterone shots as part of the transitioning? That would make a difference…
