Yet another predatory sex-pest woman.

A child sex offender followed a 16-year-old girl around a hospital and showed her messages which read "Do you want to f***?" and "I love you, I want to bang you". The defendant was in breach of an order which prevented her from having unsupervised contact with children.

Leah Harvey, 28, of Caerphilly, pestered and harassed her victim at the Grange University Hospital, in Cwmbran, in the early hours of October 2 last year. The defendant had already been discharged from hospital with a panic attack, but remained on the grounds to pursue her victim.

A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday heard Harvey had three previous convictions for attempting to cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity and a conviction for attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming. She had been made subject to a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) indefinitely. Harvey was sentenced to three years in prison for the offence.

Despite the obligatory pronoun farce, it will come as no surprise to learn that Leah claims to be transgender: which is to say that "Leah" is of course a man. Women tend not to follow young girls around saying "I want to bang you" and "Do you want to fuck?".

A previous court hearing on December 12 last year was told Harvey had experienced "gender issues". She had been remanded at HMP Parc, a men's prison, and was to undergo an "evaluation test" to determine whether she would move to HMP Eastwood Park, a woman's prison. WalesOnline understands that Harvey will serve her sentence at a men's prison and this element of the sentence is not under review.

Now that is a surprise. It seems that they've learnt something at least from Scotland's Isla Bryson farrago.

In mitigation, Karl Williams said there was no physical attempt made by Harvey to take hold of the victim. He said the defendant wishes to be released from custody as soon as possible and "will never do this again".

Of course he won't. This is only his fourth conviction….
