Headline in the Times – Trans prisoners will be sent to jails according to gender at birth.

Transgender inmates in Scotland will initially be placed in prisons according to their gender at birth following the widespread outcry that followed a double rapist being held in a women’s jail.

No, it's according to their sex. The implication in this way of reporting seems to be that anyone can change their gender at any time during their life, so "at birth" is some kind of arbitrary compromise. It's accepting the gender ideology view.

Bryson raped two women and was charged by police in 2019 while identifying as a male called Adam Graham. The following year the rapist identified as a woman called Annie, and was convicted last month under the name of Isla Bryson.

He wasn't identifying as a male called Adam Graham – he was a male called Adam Graham. Still is. He then identified as a woman called Isla Bryson.

It'd be nice to have some decent reporting on this.
