The case of the woman raped in a supposedly single-sex ward in hospital and then told that it wasn't possible because no men were there – as revealed by Emma Nicholson – has prompted some strange responses. Like this, for instance:

Apparently Eleanor Melvin is a Mental Health Specialist Practitioner with the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, and deleted her Twitter account later. Still…that's quite something. Not only are women now guilty of the most vicious and brutal crimes – like cutting up women and disposing of their bodies in bags on the street – but they can be rapists as well.
