Sudanese Islamic scholar Abd Al-Hayy Yousuf said in a February 5, 2020 interview on Tayba TV (Sudan) that the term "normalization [of relations with Israel]" suggests that Muslims had had peaceful relations with the Jews in the past, but that this is not so. Elaborating that there is no difference between Jews and Zionists, Al-Hayy said that the Jews were slayers of the prophets of Allah, that they are shedders of blood, that they tried to kill the Prophet Muhammad, that they raise their children to kill Arabs and hate Muslims, and that they train their children to use all kinds of weapons. He argued that this is the nature of the Jews, and that this is why Israel has a powerful military, which he claimed is indoctrinated with Jewish and biblical notions such as the Temple, Jerusalem, and the Promised Land. In addition, Al-Hayy lamented that Muslims armies are prevented from training according to Islamic values.

"They raise their children to kill Arabs and hate Muslims". A man who, I think we can safely assume, doesn't understand irony.
