I featured Alex Harvey's English version of this – Next – some years back, but never the Jacques Brel original. Mainly because it was hard to find an English translation. Here's a great version from 1964, but with French subtitles. However I've now found this, titled "Anti-military song"….which I suppose it is, though of course it's much more than that.
