Egyptian cleric Sheikh Ahmad Abd Al-Bari explains the Islamic position on sexual politics:

"One of the things that spoil marital life is when a woman refuses her husband's call to bed. One of the leading causes of this is the films and TV series that have taught women to be disobedient. It is as if they have independent lives now, and can do it whenever they want, and refuse to do it whenever they don't.

My dear sisters, the Prophet Muhammad said: "If a man summons his wife (to bed), she must consent even if she is riding a camel."
