"Sculpture is an art of the open air . . . I would rather have a piece of my sculpture put in a landscape, almost any landscape, than in or on the most beautiful building in the world."
So said Henry Moore, and to demonstrate how much better his large sculptures work out in the open there's an exhibition of 14 bronzes, plus one fibreglass piece, in the grounds of Hatfield House this summer, up till the end of September. It's certainly a great deal more enjoyable than the claustrophobic Tate Britain exhibition last year.
Here are a few pictures I took at Hatfield this morning:

Three Piece Reclining Figure: Draped. 1975

Reclining Mother and Child. 1975-6

Reclining Figure: Arch Leg. 1969-70
More Moore (from Kew Gardens, 2007) here. The formating's messed up now, but the photos are still there to click on.
