Both The Big Picture and In Focus now have a couple of galleries of photos from the earthquake and its aftermath. Many, like the first picture in the latest In Focus gallery, are astonishing. A picture of a buried victim's hand sticking out from the rubble, on the other hand, is surely unnecessary.
