Dressed in a dictator outfit straight from the fancy dress shop (or the Tripoli branch of Despots 'R' Us perhaps), here's Libya's increasingly demented Gaddafi:

FIFA has embarked upon a new policy of human trafficking. Slavery has returned, after it was banned by the Berlin Conference. FIFA has brought slavery back.

How come the small, poor countries – numbering almost 200 – are denied for all eternity the option of hosting the World Cup? Only rich countries get to host the World Cup. We, the small, poor countries, have the right to host the World Cup, just like any other country.

I think it may have something to do with having the stadiums, the infrastructure, the…oh nevermind. If he wants Libya to be chosen as a future host, he may be going the wrong way about it.

Then there's the Egyptian cleric here who condemns the World Cup as a Zionist plot, first set out in the Protocols, to generate animosity among Muslims…
