Back to the Hertford Union Canal at Hackney Wick, and the constantly changing lock-side art show. To get some history (yes, I've been there before) - here, here, here, here, here, and here. And that's just in the last year.

So…let's set the scene. Here's a view looking east: the art in question on the left there, the lock on the right, and in the distance, over the other side of the Lea Navigation aka the Hackney Cut, cranes building the Olympic 2012 site:

But this is the pièce de resistance; that vibrant colourful sprawl – looked at straight on, from the other side of the lock:
