I've posted on Africando before, and here's another track, this time featuring Guinean singer Sekouba Bambino, from the 2000 Mandali album:

The idea behind Africando was to put the finest NY salsa musicians together with some of West Africa's leading vocalists, emphasising the links between the two musics and the enduring popularity of latin music in Africa. The video style is, let's say, unsophisticated, but with a voice like that it hardly matters.

For more typical Sekouba Bambino fare, try this. That guitarist – the baldish one – is, I think, Sekou "Diamond fingers" Diabete, from Bembeya Jazz…see him here last year in Sweden.
