What's so great about Israel and Gaza for cartoonists – and commentators in general – is that not only do you have all those Nazi references to hand to add instant irony, you have the Bible as well. So, in the latest Private Eye, we have a Bernie cartoon of Israeli tanks in Gaza, with the caption "Christmas brings the traditional Slaughter of the Innocents". Hilarious!
