Ullswater is now the setting for a video that aims to make the Lake District cool “with the YouTube generation”. Cumbria Tourism has shot a rap music version of Wordsworth’s I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud featuring MC Nuts, a giant squirrel.

David McKitterick, of the Wordsworth Trust, said that the poet might have approved. “When Wordsworth was young he was very much a radical,” he said.

Yes indeed, and it doesn’t get any more radical than a giant rapping squirrel.
